NATIONAL HERITAGE WEEK 18-26 AUGUST
National Heritage Week is part of European Heritage Days. Co-ordinated by the Heritage Council in Ireland, its aim is to deepen the connection between people and heritage.
With National Heritage Week in full swing there is a wealth of great activities across the country to be enjoyed. Here in Dublin we recommend consulting the heritageweek.ie site to make your choice. How about visiting Dublin’s St Patrick’s Cathedral where 45 minute-long concerts are being performed in the Lady Chapel – free but booking essential – daily at 1pm. Then head round the corner to historic Marsh’s Library. Daily tours at 3pm and 4pm until 25th August. Join us at walkindublin.com to discover more about Dublin’s hidden history.
